Description: Photograph album created by Charles John Lindsay, containing scenes of various holiday yachting cruises, usually at Christmas and Easter (between 1925 and 1933), to the Marlborough Sounds and Kapiti Island. Crew members are identified with initials and surnames. The yachts they crewed on were the Viking, Iolanthe, Wairere (I), and Rawene. Many other yachts seen while sailing are also named. Looks across Cook Strait and shows the North Island in the distance, as seen through the entrance of Tory Channel, looking towards Cape Terawhiti, Wellington Heads, and Cape Palliser (all identified).
