Description: Contains J A Jamiesons reminiscences, poetry and some miscellaneous correspondence, receipts and notes, [ca 1870-1950]. Reminiscences describe Jamieson's life as a shepherd, farm worker and manager and working in various businesses in both the North and South Islands, mainly in the Kaikoura, Wairarapa and Waipawa areas. Also describes his farming life in the Korakonui area in the Waikato where his wife Elizabeth Jamieson won a ballot farm in 1911.
