Photograph taken by a New Zealand Government Tourist Department photographer, March 1904. Lord Ranfurly is standing near the left of the group, wearing a hat. Maui Pomare is at rear centre, wearing a white hat. James Carroll is standing to the right of the main group, wearing a kahu huruhuru (feather cloak) and a hat.
