It has a planned opening date of 2010 or 2011, and is scheduled to host some matches of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. People can see the giant albatross at the Otago Harbour Heads. Description: Two men look at the almost completed Dunedin Stadium; one of them says 'features some REAL innovations, all right. Did you know it's inflatable?' His companion thinks he means 'the roofing' but he means 'the cost'. Context - Cartoon refers to the ever-expanding list of items not included in the "fixed price" contract for Dunedin's new Forsyth Barr Stadium being built for this year's Rugby World Cup. Some are quite necessary (and costly) for it to be usable for such events - examples include kitchen fit-outs, scoreboards and replay screens. "Possible additional" spending could be $4.35 million.
