Description: Shows single-storey homestead with verandah in left foreground, with lake and mountains in background. In right foreground, a man with arm raised directs his dogs to round up stock (possibly cattle rather than sheep, but indistinct). There is some fencing across the field between dwelling and stock. Stitched to leaf tipped into sketchbook. E-501-f-059 on verso. Henry Taylor was drowned in the Teremakau River in 1867. This picture may therefore predate 1867.
