House and front garden, Wanganui

Description: Wooden bungalow with front lawn and garden. The lawn is flanked with standard roses ringed with pansies and more roses and pansies occupy a circular bed in the centre of the lawn and a bed across the front of the house. On the left hand side of the image a sealed drive leads to a brick garage in which a Studebaker is parked "The car has a Christchurch number-plate so may only be visiting. Note the detail in the brickwork of the garage roof and the chimneys. At the front of the house, French doors open out to a verandah where a dog and a cane chair await company."
