Description: A series of quick sketches. A two-storied house with another at right-angles (or the same house seen from a different angle) is the most finished. It may show the artist's house at Amuri. There are fifteen drawings of men's faces, including one of a moustached man with upper body including, possibly in a military uniform. There are several cows drawn from several angles and one horse's head. There is also a small drawing of two stick-figure men lining up to fight one another with seated figures behind them. The drawing is undated but the details are likely to have been observed at Duppa's Amuri run in the 1860s. The inside back cover of the sketchbook includes the name and English address of Duppa's nephew, Bryan, who visited Amuri in 1863 Quantity: 1 drawing(s). Mount Tapaenuku climbed, February the 11th, 1925

Description: Record of six members of the Awatere Rugby Football Club who climbed Mount Tapuae-O-Uenuku on the 10th and the 11th of February 1925. Four of the team had made a failed attempt at the summit the year before (1924), and two of the images in the album were taken at this time. The party foregathered at Seddon and drove up the Awatere Valley to the Hodder River where the walking began. They followed the Hodder River and then its tributary, the Shin. They spent the night in Shin Hut (built in 1880) and the next morning made the climb to the Crows Nest, passing the Pinacle, and then on to the summit. The reached Shin Hutt on the way out at four o'clock on the afternoon of the 11th of February. The six men were George Alexander Gunn, Alan Fleming, William (Bill) Dick, Jock Dick, Frank Dick, and Albert (Bert) Lawsen Kennington. Quantity: 1 album(s) Album(s).

Description: Album of photographs collected by Rev G E Mason on a trip around the world in 1885-1886. Comprises photographs of California, Tasmania, Sydney, Ceylon, Egypt and New Zealand. In 1884 the Bishop of Lichfield recieved a request from the bishops of Christchurch and Auckland, New Zealand, to send clergy to conduct missions in their dioceses. To this end he invited Rev G E Mason, and Rev Charles Bodington to do the job. The two clegymen left Liverpool for the United States on the 4th of July 1885, spent a summer in New Zealand, and returned to England in September 1886.
