Description: Cadastral and topographical map of the area adjacent to Lowry Bay. Includes numbered sections with acreages, some including sites of buildings, a homestead, tennis court, circular garden, line of sewer drain. Boundaries are marked, especially building line distances from roads. Includes tracks and drives, roads are named, and the Wellington to Eastbourne Road is decribed as a bitumen road. The Francis Bell Reserve with the approximate area of 120 acres, also one section to be retained by trustees, are marked. The section of C. W. D Bell includes a note stating that it is not for sale. Vegetation and some topographic features are described. Note on bottom right states: All distances and areas are subject to amendment by final survey now in progress Quantity: 1 map(s). Description: Cadastral and surveying map and four diagrams. The map comprises large numbered sections with acreages and small numbered subdivisions. The area covered is from Diagram 1 to the approach of Wainuiomata Hill. The Wainuiomata Trig is marked and a note referring to a larger section states that subsoil has been removed for waterworks processes. Diagrams 2 and 3 join the Wainuimata Hill approach to the Francis Bell Reserve. The main map is of cadastral sections from the Francis Bell Reserve to Lowry Bay to Gracefield. Diagram 4 details the pipeline easement between Lowry Bay Scenic Reserve and Gracefield Road, at the Quarry Reserve. Various Deposited Plans are referred to. Diagram 1 is of section boundaries in the Hutt Registration District, Lower Hutt Borough. Diagram 2 is of true section boundaries in the Lowry Bay Registration District. Diagram 3 is of true section boundaries and Mr Hounsell's section boundary. Diagram 4 is an enlargement of a pipeline casement. Five stamps of approval include the signatures of M. Description: Cadastral map with some topographical and surveying information shows subdivision of land under the Land Transfer Act. Includes numbered sections with acreages, some of which are heavily outlined, adjacent to Lowry Bay and are part of Block XVI, Belmont Survey District. Various deposited plans are referred to. The Esplanade, Dillon and Cheviot Streets are marked as is a proposed road. An area of Native Reserve is marked along Lowry Bay beach. A scenic reserve is marked. Names include H. D. Bell and A. Pearce. A note refers to Field Book 3403, page 68 and includes the name of G. P. Rayward Other Titles - Subdivision No. 1, part of Lowry Bay township Note on bottom right states: Approved by the Hutt County Council. [Signed] R. Sections include prospective purchasers' names and are referred to in a list to the right of the map having the title "Choice of Selection". Sections appear to have been re-numbered.
