Includes views of the construction on a timber dam (probably in Coromandel), Coromandel Public Hospital, Kennedy Bay (Coromandel), a stream crossing between Opitonui and Coromandel, bush camps in the Coromadel district and a traffic bridge in Rodney County. Daniel P Parker is recorded in the Wise's Post Office directories as an engineer in Coromandel from 1902 to 1930. Between 1906 and 1911 he is also recorded as a photographer. Description: The collection covers mining buildings; interior machinery including the use of scales and smelting; miners both at work and posed for the camera; panning for gold; mine railways and the carts used on them; general views of the area; and other houses and buildings in the area. Also included are the building of the power house for the Talisman Gold Mining Company in Karangahake, a gold mine battery possibly in Karangahake, and a coach pulled by five horses possibly in the Karangahake district. Description: Album of photographs relating to William Lints' Reveille Company, presented to Beeban Annadale McKnight after her marriage to John McKnight. Beeban Annadale MacDonald performed with the company for five years before her marriage in 1923. Many of the photographs are of her at various sites on the tours around New Zealand. Others include one of Gladys Moncrieff and one of Mae Baird, both selling Reveille programmes in Christchurch. William Lints himself appears in a number of the photographs.
