APPEARAiNCE WITH COMFORT.—The new Austin 10-4 Cambridge Saloon. Modern in design, it provides generous interior space and good appearance. The forward mounting of the engine will be noted, all-steel body and w ell-designed rear. Like all the Austin range, it has a side-valve engine and four-speed gear-box, with synchro-mesh engagement for second, third, and top. (Evening Post, 17 October 1936)

Interior of Helen Hitchings Gallery, Bond Street, Wellington
The Mount Cook Gaol, now officially known as the Alexandra Military Depot, is Wellington's greatest white elephant. It has never been seriously occupied as a gaol, and is so designed as to be of practically no value for any other purpose. It is considered to be an impossible task to rearrange the interior, and so solidly is this place bnilt that nothing short of dynamite will shift it. The gaol stands on the ground where i¥, is proposed to place the National Museum and the War Memorial Carillon. (Evening Post, 05 November 1926)
The very latest in otor caravans, a "flatavan," has been designed and built to the special order of the late Maharajah Scindla of Qwalior, and has been shipped to India. Nearly £3000 has been spent on the elaborate fittings, and within the two compartments which are connected like an express train, sixteen persons can dine and sleep. The interior resembles a first-class cabin on a liner, the sleeping bunks being turned into divans during the day. The picture shows the exterior of the "flatavan," with the two compartments "joined together. (Evening Post, 14 August 1926)
