The Leicestershire Mercury, of Saturday next, March the 8th (Price 3d., unstamped) will contain full reports of the Leicestershire Assizes, including the trial of John Fowkes, for the Snarestone Murder, and the suit of Merewether v the Pegg's Green Colliery Company. Bardon Hill. Ten pounds reward. Whereas Bardon Wood was set on fire on Sunday the 16th instant, and much damage done. Notice. The inhabitants of Ashby-de-la-Zouch are respectfully informed that a Congratulatory Address to the Lady Edith Maude Abney Hastings, on her accession to the Estates of the late Sir Charles Abney Hastings, Bart., will lie for Signature at the Library and News Room, on Tuesday next, and that a meeting will be held at seven o'clock in the evening of the same day, at the Town Hall, for the purpose of appointing a deputation to present such address on the following day at Willesley.
