Waitangi Day – He Tohu guided experience

Join a 30 minute free guided experience in te reo Māori or English to explore He Tohu, the multi-award winning exhibition which features all nine original signed sheets of the Treaty of Waitangi.

He Tohu tours

Guided He Tohu experiences will take place throughout Waitangi day and will be in te reo Māori and English.

The guided experience offers insight into stories behind some of the 540 Rangatira who signed Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the thoughts of New Zealanders on the meaning and value of the Treaty today

Tour times:

  • 10.15am — Viewing the document room with families.
  • 10.30am — Tour of He Tohu — English
  • 11am — Tour of He Tohu — Te Reo
  • 12.30pm — Family Tour of He Tohu — English
  • 1pm — Tour of He Tohu — bi-lingual
  • 2pm – Tour of He Tohu - English
  • 3pm – Tour of He Tohu - English
  • 4pm - Tour of He Tohu – English
