Learn the basics of portraiture
Discover your inner artist at our school holiday workshop Selfie mode: Portraiture! Artist Jason Holland will teach the basics of portraiture and help us find our own style along the way.
This is appropriate for children of all ages with a supervising parent or guardian.
Whānau friendly tour Mīharo Wonder
We’ll start with a whānau friendly tour of our exhibition Mīharo Wonder, focusing on the beautiful portraits in the exhibition.
Create your own protrait
Afterwards, it’s your turn to explore through art. We’ll have art games and exercises to help you find your style and learn to draw. Using our art materials, create your own portrait!
