Revolting! The sound of protest in Aotearoa takes a look at some of the songs and stories behind a few of our peaceful and not-so-peaceful protest movements.
Panel talks
Revolting includes a series of panel talks discussing New Zealand's protest music. Featuring musicians, historians, artists and activists, these talks will also include performances by some of New Zealand's finest protest singers.
17 May: Simon Grigg, Kerry Ann Lee and Redmer Yska, joined by the Wellington Sea Shanty Society
7 June: John Lake, Sam Buchanan and Don Franks, speaking and playing music
