Want to preserve your social media account for the future?
Do you use social media as a record of daily life or special events? Do you use it to connect to friends and loved ones? Do you want to preserve your social media accounts for the future?
Or, if you’re thinking of leaving social media and deleting your account, do you know how to get your data out first?
Valerie Love, the Alexander Turnbull Library’s Senior Digital Archivist, will give you practical advice on how to manage your digital files and social media.
The session will also explain the basics of managing your digital files, such as naming, file organisation and back-ups.
