A fun gaming event bringing artists, cosplayers and gamers together!
Explore our artist alleys filled with wonderful art and meet your favourite creators.
Play an exciting range of video games, tabletop role-playing games, and Dungeons and Dragons for both experienced and curious players.
Experience stunning stage performances, and competitions on gaming and cosplay throughout the day. Bring your friends along or make new ones and immortalise the day with our photo wall.
We have something for everyone – the only thing we are missing is you!
About Great games with pals
Great games with pals was founded on the basis that there aren't enough gaming events in Aotearoa New Zealand. And there are definitely not enough celebrating the arts and culture of gaming.
The first Great games with pals event in 2020 was a blend of amazing artists and incredible performances, and we are proud to say our next event at National Library is set to be even greater!
