Come and hear about ways you can connect and use the collections at the Library. Talks will usually be held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from February to November.

2024 will mark the fiftieth anniversary since the Archive of New Zealand Music was established within the Alexander Turnbull Library. In this, the final Connecting to Collections Online for 2023, Keith McEwing, Curator Music, will talk about the founding of the archive, some highlights of what has been added in those fifty years, and what is planned to build the collection in the future.

In this online talk, Senior Archivist Merryn McAulay will explain how the cross library project team, Mahi Whanake, is preparing three significant acquisitions for access by researchers — the architectural records of John Scott, the final tranche of literary papers from C. K. Stead, and the papers of artist Shona Rapira Davies.
