Celebrate with us
For our last whānau day of the year, we thought we’d make it a Merry one! The National Library is teaming up with Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision and Wellington City Libraries to bring you a Christmas whānau day to remember.
While you sing along to your favourite Christmas carols, archived Christmas and holiday footage will be on loop in the foyer for you to watch.
Enjoy the Christmas activities
We will also have Christmas themed activities throughout the day.
From 9am to 1pm you can:
- make things at the crafts table
- create Christmas cards
- take part in a Christmas quiz
- watch animated Christmas films in He Matapihi Molesworth Library
- enjoy Christmas tree craft decorating He Matapihi Molesworth Library
From 10am to 11:30am — learn how to fabric wrap
From 10:30am to 11am — listen to a Christmas bi-lingual story in He Matapihi Molesworth Library
There is something for everyone!
Give a gift
We are collecting gifts for Women’s refuge and a gift donation box will be available. All gifts are welcome and greatly appreciated!
We hope to see you there for a jolly good time.
From our whānau to yours – Meri Kirihimete!
