- An exhibition of maps of Antartica. The exhibition will launch an exhibition of maps of Antartica. The exhibition will launch the 2019 map of Antartica, which is being distributed to every New Zealand school.

The stories behind the stories
3 December
- For the end-of-the year event Fleur Beale, award-winning author and Patron of the Friends of the Dorothy Neal White Collection, will talk about how she became a writer and where the ideas came from for some of her books.

5:30pm for drinks and nibbles, 6:00pm talk.
