Turnbull Named Collections
The Turnbull Named Collections are the personal libraries of collectors that have been donated to us. There are about 30 named collections covering many subjects.
The Turnbull Named Collections contain printed items, mostly books, and are part of the Alexander Turnbull Library collections. Most were donated many years ago.
Subjects covered range from Esperanto and bee-keeping to the Shetland Islands. The named collections include:
Barr Collection (publications by amateur journalists)
Ramsay Collection (of school and church histories)
