Business e-resources available at the National Library
The Library subscribes to dozens of national and international databases and journals, many of which are useful resources for businesses. These databases can only be accessed onsite at the National Library in Wellington, and at our centres in Auckland, and Christchurch.
Some of these resources, and many others, may be available through your local public library as well.
Full text access to a wide range of journals and reference sources with strong coverage of hard science, medicine, engineering and business.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) publications
Publications on a wide range of topics, from agriculture economics to urban water management.
Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre
Full text access to newspaper and magazines with an emphasis on New Zealand and Australian titles. Includes full text of most major New Zealand daily newspapers searchable back through a decade or more. (New Zealand magazine titles include; North & South, Metro, New Zealand Management & New Zealand Marketing Magazine)
Business Source Premier
Full text of a comprehensive selection of business journals including Harvard Business Review and Law Review. Coverage includes management, economics, finance, accounting and international business.
RDS Business Suite
Company, industry, market or product information on international businesses. Comprised of 3 collections (Business & Industry, Business and Management Practices, TableBase) that can be searched individually or together.
Business & Industry covers all manufacturing and service industries including the new companies, products, brands and applied technologies.
Business and Management Practices offers coverage of more than 1,000 professional and trade journals containing information relevant to the fields of management, planning, production, finance, marketing, information technology and human resources

NBR online content, updated daily.
New Zealand Index
A database of indexes relating to New Zealand science, industry, news. politics and fine arts. The New Zealand Index includes over 1.8 million current and historical records of indexed abstracts to business, scientific and news information.
An archive of the full text of major New Zealand news and business publications.
An archive of a wide range of newspapers, newsfeeds and journals specific to the Pacific Islands.
The online library of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) with content from the International Energy Agency (IEA). Iincludes books, papers and statistics, OECD’s analysis and data.
