Volcanoes: fire from below by Robert CoupeFebruary 4th, 2015
I really liked the colourful pictures and diagrams in this book. These, along with the many small chunks of text convey a large amount of information while the busy, absorbing layout draws the reader in. The information is both general - the rock layers inside the earth, how volcanoes are formed, different types of volcanoes, and specific - the facts and figures for famous eruptions throughout history. A great overview if you are after information on volcanoes, and an interesting read if you like non-fiction.
This is one of eight titles in the Earth and Space Science series from Powerkids Press
