ComicFest and Free Comic Book Day — 2 to 4 May

ComicFest 2019 is a celebration of the comic book. This year, it's being held at the National Library in Wellington because the usual host, Wellington City Library, has had to vacate their building for earthquake repairs.

Every year on the first Saturday in May, comic book stores around the world celebrate Free Comic Book Day by giving away free comic books. Find out more about ComicFest in Wellington and local Free Comic Book Day events in your area.

Free Comic Book Day is an annual event founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book they’ll love.
