Description: Photographs of the construction of a multi storeyed building on the corner of Molesworth Street and Murphy Street (180 Molesworth Street), Thorndon, formerly the site of the Princess Hotel, from circa March 1975 to February 1977, taken by Photocraft Studio, Petone. The first few photographs show the site with the Princess Tavern still standing before its demolition, probably in April 1975. Some photographs also include views of the United States Embassy under construction on the other side of Murphy Street.
