Peaks, islands, and other geographic features are named, school, church, and settlements are labelled. The division of the island into 5 areas is shown with shading in colour and each area named: Avarua, Arorangi, Titikaveka, Ngatangiia, Matavera, and the overall title Taki-Tumu. Named islands include: Motutapu, Oneroa, Koromiri, Taakoke,

'Avarua and Avatiu Harbours'. Outside the ruled frame: "by Putangi". Scale is represented on a graph with 10 cables to 1 sea mile. Detailed chart of the two adjacent harbours with depth soundings, palms, buildings, road shown and geographical points labelled.
