Shows scenes at a Ringatu meeting on a marae in Ruatoki, Bay of Plenty, New Year's Eve, 1972. Six negative frames show people sitting on the steps in front of the meeting house, including two older women (kuia) with moko kauwae.
Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
