Joined Audit Department as cadet in 1943 - Refers to Bill Edwards; Selwyn Perry, Charlie Gair, Tim Trehy, C G Collins (Controler and Auditor General). Moved to ICI (1946-1948), then joined J G Ward & Co as accountant. Refers to Gordon Corbett (Managing Director). Backgrounds Wards eventual takeover of Carswell & Co.
