Original Evening Post caption reads: "The scaffolding has come down from around the facade of the old Prestons building on Willis Street. The facade has been retained and upgraded as part of the exterior of the $200 million Majestic development which is now nearing completion on the corner of Boulcott Street. It is believed the original building went up in about 1910, or shortly afterwards...". Photograph taken 29 January 1991 by an Evening Post staff photographer.
