Dan Davin, in the uniform of a captain in the British Army, photographed in the period 1942-1944 by an unknown photographer.
Inscriptions: Verso - top centre - Penserenso un poco
Davin was wounded in crete in 1941. After convalescence he was seconded as an intelligence officer to the headquarters of the Eighth Army in Cairo. He returned to England in 1945. Source of information, DNZB, vol 5, pp 136-137.
