Description

Lord and Lady Bledisloe standing with a gathering of Maori on Picton foreshore at the presentation of a large totara chair and a pounamu for the Waitangi Treaty House. The organiser of the presentation, Te Ari Pitima, is seated at the front. Photographed by A R Kingsford of Nelson 18 January 1934.
