Description

March on Parliament in support of the equal status of the Maori language to English. The march can be seen coming from Mercer Street and turning right into Willis Street. George Harrison's menswear shop can be seen on the left of the image. Photographed by an Evening Post staff reporter on the 1st of August, 1980.
