Original newspaper caption reads: "Fish shop owners Antonio Cuccurullo and Camillo Amitrano are known to many of their regular customers as 'the gentlemen'. The pair retired at the weekend after 36 years in the fish business. The genial Italians, who have been friends since childhood, emigrated to New Zealand in the early 1950s, and set up Wellington Fisheries in Cuba street. They have been there ever since".
