- Description
Flier inviting visitors to visit Camp David at Waipara. The women of the community make heraldic flags, and the premises have a deer park, horses, aviaries, aquariums, pottery, militaria, lapidary and horticulture. There is an illustration of the heraldic flag that flies from the flagpole continuously.
The flier is accompanied by a letter to an interested outsider from Miss R Metcalf, secretary, dated 20 March 1980 at Amberley. She stresses that the community is not a commune, as the members live in individual homes in Amberley and Waipara.
