The view is looking north along the street showing two lanes of one-way traffic. The van in the foreground is entering Grey Street and the bus is crossing in Panama Street.
Caption - Original Evening Post caption reads: "Wellington's Featherston Street is full of vehicles but the new one-way system is comfortably handling peak hour traffic this morning for the first time. This view is looking north along the street with the van in the foreground entering Grey Street and the bus crossing in Panama Street."
