- Savage, P (Mrs), active 1980; Mundy, Daniel Louis, 1826-1881
Seated portrait of Sir George Grey, dressed in uniform, in front of a painted backdrop of a marble balustrade, mountains and foliage. He sits cross-legged and rests is left elbow on his sword.
The photographic element of this portrait needs verification but it would appear to be the same portrait, taken by Mundy, that is mentioned in the Lyttelton Times, Volume XXVII, Issue 1972, 15 April 1867, Page 2, column 5.
