The iron barque "West Australian", (circa 1880s?), possibly in Dunedin. The premises of manufacturing stationers Fergusson & Mitchell is in the background. Photographer unidentified.
An iron barque 'West Australian' berthed at Wellington in 1864. Another iron barque named the 'West Australian' registered at the Port of Lyttelton in 1903. The latter was wrecked at New Caledonia in 1904.
