Half of this collection deals with Papua New Guinea and consists of correspondence, notes, articles and papers, draft legislation and press cuttings. A small portion relates to politics and land matters in Australia, New Zealand, the Solomons, Africa, Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Vanuatu, Banaba, French Polynesia and Guadeloupe. The remainder of the documents are concerned with New Caledonia 1947-1990, and especially the years 1984 to 1990.
