Photograph album comprising photographs taken and collected 1942-1943 by an unidentified soldier (possibly Corporal Ned (Neddy) Rankin) while serving in North Africa and the Middle East during World War II.
Includes views of Jerusalem, Jericho, Bethlehem, Derna, Alexandria, and the Dead Sea. Also includes photographs of German airplanes and a glider, trucks and tanks. Identified individuals include Brigadier Kippenberger, Dave Bowie, Count Colvin, Herb Longbottom, Lloyd Bailey, K Barrett, as well as group photographs of 22nd Battalion and "I Section".
