Description

Caricature of Heather Simpson, Prime Minister, Helen Clark's Chief of Staff. Her head is shown protruding from the beehive and octopus tentacles writhe out of many windows, each clutching a phone or a broom, a pen or an axe, a whip and even a couple of men. Refers to Heather Simpson's power in the government. A New Zealand Herald article by Audrey Young says that 'She is the woman who has been conducting the negotiations for putting a Government together since the elections on September 17. She will also undoubtedly be helping to reconstruct the Cabinet'.
