Wife of the Earl of Ranfurly, 15th Governor of New Zealand, 1897-1902, whom she married in 1880. A watercolourist, she exhibited at the Wellington Art Exhibition in 1897. She was born in Tyrone, Ireland, 30 Nov 1858, the daughter of James Alfred Caulfield, 7th Viscount Charlemont. During her time in Wellington, she was noted for her beauty and social accomplishments.
