Holloway, Ron, 1909-2003
Prolific Auckland bookplate designer. Associated with Auckland Branch of Ex Libris Society from 1932. Established Griffin Press. Honorary Librarian of the Heraldry Society (NZ Branch).(See Ian Thwaites' article in Auckland Waikato historical journal, September 1998). Assisted Frank Rogers to make prints from lino blocks created by A R D Fairburn; displayman and typographer. Donated his equipment, books and archives of his press to the Auckland University who named Holloway Press after him.
