Snowden, Bert, 1904-1982

Freelance commercial photographer, of Auckland. In 1934 married Hilda May Perham. After her death in 1936, he continued to work from a studio at her parents' house at 23 Springfield Street, Kingsland, SW1, Auckland. In 1958 he operated from 12 Darby's Building, Elliott Street, Auckland. Also known to have operated out of Palmerston Buildings. He supplied photographs to the Auckland Weekly News, Auckland Star, and Freelance. He died 19 June 1982, aged 77. His address was given as Waikauri Bay.
