Ellis, T, 1891?-1938, Glover, Tom, 1891?-1938
Caricaturist and cartoonist. Born in England, but grew up in New Zealand. Worked as an elevator boy in Wellington's King's Chambers, decorating the lift with sketches of his clientele. From 1911-1922, he was cartoonist for the "NZ Truth", and from 1918-1922, contributed cartoons to the "NZ Free lance", as T. Ellis. At "NZ truth", he doubled as court reporter and was occasional leader writer. He also published work in the New Zealand Artists' annual. In 1922 he joined the "Sydney bulletin".
