Waters, Frederick Valentine, 1860?-1918

Husband of Agnes (née Dyer), and father of Barrie and Eric. Katherine Mansfield's uncle. A Post Office official and church organist. Choirmaster at St Mark's Church, Wellington, March 1892 to November 1893. (See photograph album "St Mark's Parish" PA1-o-453, p 36, 50). Wrote to Mary E Richmond in 1901 from Karori re her poems. One of the principal soloists at the First New Zealand Musical festival held at Wellington in 1888
