Ngāti Maniapoto

Ngati Maniapoto is descended from Rereahu and Rereahu is descended from Ngati Raukawa. Ngati Maniapoto is situated mainly between the west coast of the north island from Taharoa to Mokau and east from Pureora to Kakepuku. (Reference, Leslie Kelly `Tainui') These lands also incorporate Rereahu lands.
