Archdeacon Sir Kingi Ihaka, photographed 14 March 1989 by Evening Post staff photographer Phil Reid.

Photograph taken prior to a cabaret organised in his honour by Wellington Maori clubs, at the Pipitea Marae. Sir Kingi had been knighted in the New Year Honours.
