- Belcher, Edward (Sir), 1799-1877; Turnbull, Alexander Horsburgh, 1868-1918Beechey, Frederick William (Capt), 1796-1856
Several pages of introductory remarks are followed by details of Belcher's travels on HMS Blossom in the Pacific and includes small sketches.
Remarks at front and general appearance seem to indicate that this account is a fair copy completed after the voyage. In October 1825 Belcher details seeing a bright comet and includes a drawing of the sighting [Probably "Comet C/1825 N1 (PONS; O.S. 1825 IV)" http://www.icq.eps.harvard.edu/bortle.html).
"6, 7" in title added in pencil.
Watermark appears to be "GYE ELES 1822"
