We the undersigned RETAIL STORE KEEPERS, at the request of those in our employment, Agree, on and after 1st April, to close our respective places of business at 7 o'clock, P.M. Saturdays excepted, during the WINTER MONTHS, viz from 1st April to 1st October. 28th March, 1850.

Waters (general store), William Lyon (bookseller), James Blyth (general store), Langdon & Spinks (grocer), S. Robinson (linen draper), D. Anderson (general store), E. Cording (general store), George Levy (general store), W. Rowlands (general store), T. Warburton (fancy goods), Johnson & Moore (general store), James Taine (grocer), J. Curtis (linen draper), Samuel & Joseph (merchants), J. Harding (ironmonger), J. M`Beth (grocer).

Many of the listed retailers operated in Lambton Quay in 1850-51.
