Sir Peter Blake and the youngest member of Team New Zealand, Philip Jameson, hanging red socks on a clothes line. Photographed ca 19 December 1995 by Evening Post staff photographer Ross Giblin.
Red socks were adopted by New Zealanders as a symbol of good luck and a way to support Team New Zealand during the America's Cup challenge.
