John Sullivan is retiring after 45 years at the Alexander Turnbull Library. In this time he has had a number of roles, assisted thousands of researchers, supported the safe acquisition of many, many items into the Turnbull collections, and shared his deep knowledge of the collections through articles and presentations.
John will reflect on his years at the Turnbull and some of the collection items that are special to him.

About the speaker
John Sullivan has been Curatorial Services Leader at the Alexander Turnbull Library since taking up the role in July 2011. Prior to that he had worked for 36 years with the Library's photographic collections; the last 25 of them as Curator. He is a native Wellingtonian.
